Divorce

A dissolution is the legal dissolving of a marriage that divides assets and liabilities between spouses. Maintenance, Parenting Plans and Child Support will be also be addressed during this process. 

Legal Separation

Unlike a dissolution, a Legal Separation does not dissolve a marriage. There will still be a final division of assets and liabilities and Maintenance, Parenting Plans and Child Support will also be addressed. 

Child Custody/ Parenting Plan/Parentage

Unmarried parents may not realize that the have certain rights, responsibilities, and obligations. A parenting plan action can be commenced to determine these as well as a residential schedule. If you need to determine who the parent is, whether known or unknown, a paternity action can be pursued.

Contempt

When someone doesn't follow the court orders, this can be considered contempt of court. Our firm has experience bringing or defending  against contempt claims. 

Child Support

Courts can address initial Child Support Actions or modifications of prior orders. Our firm deals with these actions before Superior Court.
